In addition to the SBDC's small business training, we offer free, individualized and confidential one-on-one counseling appointments to both existing and start-up business owners. We utilize a small network of local and professional business advisors offering a broad spectrum of business experience and expertise.

Prior to your first counseling session, first-time and newly starting business owners are encouraged to:
- Pick Up and Review Our Free Business Start-Up Kit
- Attend Our How to Start a Small Business Workshop or Short Course
- Conduct Preliminary Research on Your Customers, Competition & Climate
- Work on a Written Version of Your Business Idea - Business Plan or Outline
- Develop a List of Questions or Specific Issues You Would Like to Discuss
- Reserve a Counseling Appointment at Our Small Business Clinic
