The Young Entrepreneurs Project (YEP) helps young adults plan for their future. Through assessment, education and planning, participants gain an understanding of the importance and choices they have in deciding how they fit in today's business world.
How Much Does YEP Cost?
The Young Entrepreneurs Project (YEP) is FREE! It is a State of California Community College Chancellor's youth-oriented project funded by your (and your parents') tax dollars.
Our Current YEP Program:
Youth Business Boot Camp:
The Solano College Young Entrepreneur Program (YEP) is conducting a weeklong Youth Business Boot Camp designed for youth ages 14-27 who want to learn how to start a full-time, part-time or summer business or simply explore the world of business. The 30 hour program is structured to offer practical and hands-on learning from Solano College Certified Business Advisors and Local Business Leaders. During the week long business boot camp, participants will work individually or in teams to develop a business plan for starting and growing a business of their choice. The Solano College YEP program is funded by a grant through the California Community College Chancellor’s Office Economic Workforce Development Program.
