Charles D. Eason  

Chuck Eason serves as the Director and Business Advisor for the Solano College Small Business Development Center.  Prior to coming to Solano Community College, Chuck was Associate Director of the California Community College’s Statewide Economic Development Network (ED>Net).  He also served as the Dean of the Napa Valley College Upper Valley Campus where he managed campus operations, the district’s non-credit program and fee-based classes, the Napa Valley Cooking School and the Napa Valley College Small Business Development Center.  Before moving to Northern California in 1997, Chuck worked for the Inland Empire SBDC as Manager of the Inland Empire Business Locator located at the former Norton AFB in San Bernardino.

Chuck is a graduate of UC San Diego where he earned a BS degree in Engineering Sciences and a graduate of CSU San Bernardino where he earned a MBA with an emphasis in marketing.  Chuck also worked in the defense industry as a systems engineer for TRW’s Ballistic Missile Program and later founded OPTEMA Development Corporation, a real estate and commercial development firm which developed spec homes and operated a chain of Gourmet Coffee Houses (Bittersweet Caffe).  In addition to being a former business owner, he also has extensive experience working with small businesses as a business broker and consultant.

 

Sandy Stelter  

Sandy Stelter, CPO® owner of SOS - Strategic Organizing Solutions (1994), provides consultation and hands-on professional and customized, organizing, time management, and productivity coaching to individuals and businesses. Sandy is the current national Treasurer of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). She is also a member of Association of Record Managers and Administrators (ARMA) and an active member of the Chambers of Commerce for Fairfield-Suisun, Benicia and Vacaville. 

As a business advisor for the Solano and Napa Valley College Small Business Development Centers, Sandy provides assistance with understanding the business start-up and/or expansion process. Over the years, Sandy has assisted numerous small business owners achieve their goals of owning and operating their own business.

Sandy serves as the lead instructor and is a mentor for the SBDC’s semi-annual NxLeveL® Entrepreneurial Training Program. She also actively participates in the monthly Small Business clinic, teaches How to Start Your Small Business and Let’s GO (Get Organized) workshops, and coordinates the SBDC’s Vallejo Small Business Expo and Financial Lenders Panel twice a year!
